Depending on your insurance plan, you may be able to submit a claim to your insurance and be reimbursed for this service. If you do not see your insurance listed in our drop-down menu when registering, please check with your insurance carrier. We also accept all Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Spending Account (HSA) cards.

You can use this service 24/7, 365 days a year.

You will receive care from a CityMD physician or a licensed CityMD nurse practitioner or physician assistant. In addition, you have the option of selecting a non-CityMD physician when a CityMD provider is not available.

CityMD's Aftercare team will ensure that you have the right information for any follow-up care necessary after your virtual visit or if you need to be seen immediately in-person.

Yes, our providers can provide a prescription in accordance with federal and state laws and when medically appropriate. Like an in-person visit, the prescription will be sent to your preferred pharmacy.

Anyone 18 or older who creates an account in the Summit + CityMD app can initiate a virtual urgent care visit. Only the account holder can receive virtual urgent care. Minors, dependents, guests and individuals without their own account are not eligible to receive virtual urgent care.
